AIAW 2022 Presentation: "Classroom Practices of Academic Integrity"
In this workshop, we will examine strategies and questions that focus on fostering academic integrity in the classroom that faculty can use as they design and teach their course(s). This workshop will also focus on authentic assessments and explore their use as a means to reduce breaches of academic integrity in the classroom.
By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to discuss reasons for breaches of academic integrity; Identify teaching and learning strategies for preventing violations of academic integrity; Consider how authentic assessment can be implemented to reduce breaches of academic integrity; and appraise various authentic assessment types that may be used in their teaching and learning contexts.
