Mainstreaming Sustainability into Business Education

Since the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, the global community, including the business sector, has been committed to ensuring that these 17 goals are reached by 2030. In response, business schools have been updating their curriculum to ensure that their graduates are equipped to be part of and lead the changes needed.

This workshop is open to all Lakehead faculty, staff, and students regardless of discipline and will cover examples and tools that can be used across disciplines.

This includes:

• An introduction to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals and the opportunities these present for business schools
• A range of ways to embed sustainability into your existing curriculum
• New ideas for those interested in making more substantial changes
• Partnerships and experiential learning opportunities
• An overview of tools and resources that can be used
