Compassionate Communities Virtual Lunchtime Learn

There is an international Compassionate Communities movement that is taking off around the world. A goal of this movement is to shift perspectives about how we think about end-of-life care by de-medicalizing death and dying, and increasing community supports for end-of-life events. Hospice Northwest, in conjunction with the Lakehead University Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health, and St. Joseph's Care Group North West Regional Palliative Care Program, is hosting a 30 minute virtual information session - the Compassionate Community Lunchtime Learn. Join in during your lunch break to learn about this important movement. The information sessions are being hosted from 12 pm – 12:30 pm on Friday, November 26th, Wednesday, December 1st, and Monday, December 6th.
