There is an international Compassionate Communities movement that is taking off around the world. A goal of this movement is to shift perspectives about how we think about end-of-life care by de-medicalizing death and dying, and increasing community supports for end-of-life events. Hospice Northwest, in conjunction with the Lakehead University Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health, and St. Joseph's Care Group North West Regional Palliative Care Program, is hosting a 30 minute virtual information session - the Compassionate Community Lunchtime Learn. Join in during your lunch break to learn about this important movement. The information sessions are being hosted from 12 pm – 12:30 pm on Friday, November 26th, Wednesday, December 1st, and Monday, December 6th.

We highly encourage you forward this invitation to members of your workplace, friends, neighbours, and family! All participants will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a gift card! If you would like to participate, please register for ONE of the dates below by clicking the appropriate link. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
