Some sources indicate that moderate alcohol consumption improves cognitive performance, while others indicate that even very low levels of consumption can negatively impact cognition. What might account for these differences? Individual differences - including age and sex - may be part of the answer. This talk will highlight the most recent research on alcohol use and cognition, and explore the complex relationships between modifiable lifestyle factors, aging and cognition.
