In the far north of Mongolia live the Tsaatan, a nomadic Indigenous tribe of reindeer herders who are among the world’s smallest ethnic minorities. Climate change and mining threaten their livelihoods, but misguided conservation policies pose a greater risk to their ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
