Social Justice Round Table Discussions

Lakehead University and the Thunder Bay Art Gallery are very pleased to present a special event devoted to the discussion of contemporary issues in research related to social justice. To mark the opening of Lakehead’s 2016 Research and Innovation Week, we are featuring two round table discussions at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery on Monday, March 7, 2016.

This event is made possible with the generous support from: the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Education, the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, Office of Aboriginal Initiatives, the Departments of Anthropology, English, History, Indigenous Learning, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, and Women’s Studies, as well as the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association and Diversity Thunder Bay.

  •  Refreshments will be served at the end of each round table.

Session 1:  Reconciliation as Pathway for Meaningful Relationships with Indigenous Peoples
